A perennial holiday favorite, this lush arrangement of Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas has a rich sound yet is surprisingly playable. Melodies are thoughtfully woven throughout the ensemble amid modern harmonies and easy chromatics. At the same time, arranger Carrie Lane Gruselle offers plenty of opportunities to work on dynamic sensitivity and vibrato on longer notes. Absolutely lovely. (2:45)
