These two charming original works are set to poems from Lowell's poetry collection, "A Dome of Many Coloured Glass." "Sea Shell" is in a lilting 6/8 and "The Trout" in a very playful, rhythmic 2/2. Full of vivid imagery and word-painting, they may be performed separately or as a delightful pair.
