Continuing her tradition of writing good marches for young bands, Nancy Seward has done it again. Pride of the Regiment is a tuneful Grade 2 march that helps to reinforce the understanding of syncopated rhythm and march style. The piece has interesting percussion parts and features clarinets in the low register for the development of rich, resonant tone quality.
