This freestanding concert duo was drawn from the composer's choral composition titled A Christmas Garland (5066). The present arrangement for two harps was also done by the composer. The succession of carols—God Rest Ye Merry, O Come All Ye Faithful, Joy to the World—are presented in an improvisational style. Accomplished players will welcome the varied moods and textures in this duet.
