This poignant anthem was written in memory of a young man accidentally electrocuted by a special effects device called a Jacob’s Ladder. The text by Susan Boersma is based on Genesis 28:15-18 and the musical setting paints a vivid picture of the journey to one’s heavenly home. Scored for SATB choir, piano and cello.
