Every year we do a survey that asks, among other things, which tunes our subscribers enjoyed and had the most success with in their classrooms. Although maybe it shouldn't have, it surprised us a little to find this fun-loving song high on the list of favorites. Ideal for sharing with your classroom cohorts, this cross-curricular gem has fun speculating about whether our founding father really did cut down that cherry tree. The orchestration for this jaunty march is right on the money, alternating a sparse "fife and drum" texture on the verses to a full-blown "Sousa on Broadway" background for the chorus.
